You don’t have to leave home without a VVS license or a job in aquaculture to practice and learn how to shop for fish. All you have to do is go to a frozen seafood store, pick out the freshest fish you can find, cut it into perfectly cooked pieces, then freeze it.
There are many ways to do this, but the most important thing is to be patient. If you’re unsure how long the fish has been frozen, don’t take it out of the freezer until it has thawed completely.
